Official time was 38:31 so I guess I stopped my Garmin too soon, don't know how. At any rate a minute faster than last year's race so anytime an old man sees a faster time the next year it's cause for celebration. Lots of fast people running today, it was awesome to see the talent there. Did the first two miles in 14:24 almost exactly as planned. Did the first 5K faster than I ran a 5K race in December so that also was positive. I didn't do much speedwork in the past two months so I know I have room for improvement and that makes me happy as well. Looks like it could be a great season.
