      Ooh yes - happened to me last year when a pace car (used for the first time by the race) made a wrong turn so everyone ran 3.01 instead, creating a new PR for me which I may never beat. Good times though, like you said! Nice racing and congrats on your AG win!

      @Catherine. They may mean different things to different people but to me I start running faster and build to a little faster than 5K pace then back down. So this morning I did 30 second strides. It's good to do that at the end of easy runs to keep your fast twitch muscles active and loose. Marathon training you don't do much fast speedwork so they help keep the fast guys ready for when you need them.

      Great job!!! You are one speedy mofo. I will be running the Dub C on friday. Looks like we might possibly get a break on the temps....hoping hoping hoping!! Let's definitely meet up before the race. I may have a crumb catcher or two with me, so I probs won't be able to stay after for a cold one unfortunately, but maybe so!! I have no expectations for this race cuz my training fell off this week.
