good RIS - First long run. 6.22 mi 01:50 17:36 pace

First "long" run. Basically doubled my latest runs.

Almost didn't do this run. Cold front came through yesterday. Barely got up to 50 today with 15 mph winds with gusts to 25+. First, had to fight to get dressed. Then when I got out to start, I really wanted to go home. The weather was pretty miserable considering what we've had lately. Decided to just press on and get started.

Started with the idea of doing at least 3 (effort) miles, with hopes of doing 4. My plan with this run was to use 30/60 intervals; skipping every 5th run interval. I've used this plan before on long runs and it has worked well. This time was no exception. Was very pleased with the run and was able to do 5 (effort) miles and extended the cool down a bit to finish a 10k.
