We old guys don't run at lightning speed. 😁 I look forward to seeing you, my friend.

      Feel Better:

We all have days when our bodies don't cooperate. I remember running an 8 mile up and back. I died half way and had to walk 4 miles to my car...sucked! I'm signed up for the Hapulua also but I'm started way in the back so I can at least pass a few runners ;-)

Thank you, everyone! @Ken - I think Chicago is around 17F (-8C) right now. I see people in HI wearing jeans, hoodies in the 80s - crazy. @Mike N - Next year! I'm playing with the idea of running it next year also.

My niece is coming home for Xmas too, I think on the 18th. And yes we mail the cards as well, we figure that it's rare enough now that people will appreciate it.

Mailing Christmas cards is the best! Soak up Hawaii before you head back to chilly Chicago!

Thanks! I'm only excited to see family, friends, and over indulge in food/booze that HI kind of lacks in. Other than that, meh. Oh, I appreciate HI weather without having to leave lol. I found these supercool Hawaiian shirts shaped cards, and the print was holiday theme, and I wrote a few words in Hawaiian. :)

Thank you, amazing trio! If I can run 13.1 at 9 min/mi, I'll be the happiest fat kid in Hawaii! I'd also totally crush my current best time of 2:30. 2017 goal?! hehe =)
