    My first run since Sunday. I was feeling really good until something in my knee freaked out. I walked it out though and eventually it behaved. Hope that was a one time thing!

    Hope you can't hurt yourself with a foam roller. I've only done it one other time but I think I did ok. Muscles are sore from yesterday so hopefully this helped.

      It's hard to hurt yourself with the roller, unless you trip over it in the night. You ran a great race and your body wants you to know it.

    Legs were tired. Felt good by the end though. Why is my right calf so tight lately? Maybe need to stretch more?

      Stretch and use a foam roller if you have one. My calf gets tight because my hip gives me trouble. Maybe you've got tightness elsewhere too?

      Haven't felt it lately but sometimes my hip bothers me. There's a foam roller at the Y, I'll use it next time I'm there. Thanks!

    Went better than I thought it would. The .8 mile warm up helped for sure! And the quiche AND croissant at the end really helped the recovery process as well.

      Aw, don't feel too bad about it. Just relax and enjoy the ride. I've totally accepted that I will probably never break any land speed records, but nobody can stop me from having fun!!
