      Yeah for cycling!! ;) I do pretty often, but my commute is 10.5mi each way - love it! I recently maxed out my CTA commuter card at $300, and they have my account on hold until I start using again and decrease the value.

    Hot, sticky run this morning, but it felt good to sweat. Thank goodness for Nuun tablets to replenish all my salts! Anyone else have favorite things they do for these hot summer runs? ^Cristina

      I love the Nuun tablets. On really hot days I start out with a few ice cubes down my sport bra and let them melt. It helps keep my core temp down for the first mile or two.

      I love Nuun too!! i wish more stores carried it--ordering online is a pain and sometimes you want to try a new flavor without ordering a large quantity!

      I love running the National Mall. Its a great reminder of all the great things this country has overcome and can put some of our day-to-day issues in perspective. Always inspirational and one of my favorites.

    great Lincoln Park Zoo 10 km

    The Rhino was out and about during the Run for the Zoo yesterday. Anyone else run the 5km or 10km? It was a beautiful day for a race right in our very own Lincoln Park backyard! ^Cristina
