Sorry about your race, @Ini. I've had those races where you've done everything that you can to prepare, but are flat as a pancake on the course with no energy and in a fog. Hopefully, it's just a blip on the radar, but definitely write down everything you remember including what you did to prepare for the event so you can compare notes later.

hmm. sounds like a bad race, ini. sometimes they just happen (i have had many of them last little while...), with no real "reason". that said, a sub-2 hour on your worst day is nothing to sneeze at, really. maybe take some notes about what you did and when you go for your next long run you could compare to race day, see if anything looks/feels different. all we can try to do is learn from the bad days as we move on. :)

I have had bad races and bad days (Read my posts for this summer!) it sounds like it was one of those down days. Was it really hot? I feel exactly the way you describe when it get very hot. (I just want to walk) Nice job finishing and still breaking two hours, you did awesome!
