good Completed my 1st marathon Sun... 26.2 mi 05:30 12:35 pace

First 18 were great. Are there any 3/4 marathons? My knees began hurting as most of my training was on dirt roads. I was happy to cross the finish line!
Hope to see lots of you on Saturday morning!

  3. Finished my 1/2 in Newmarket, NH a few weeks ago. Didn't run as fast as I would have liked, but the course was beautiful along the NH shore. My first full marathon is looming large at the end ... read more

Run more than 20 this Saturday if you can. I wish I'd done a longer run than 20 when I did my first marathon. 20 miles is the first half and 6.2 is the second half! See you next month!

Now that I am smiling, I can tell you lots of hiking, biking, shopping, historical places to visit. There's canoeing or kayaking and tubing in the rivers if it's warm enough or you are tough enough!!!!

You are doing great! I'm still working on that big bottle you left me. I think it's a sprain, like I overextended it. Slowly, slowly getting better. How are things going for Andrew?

Sorry to hear that your recovery is going slowly.
I ran my 5 mile loop today and my knee was fine. I wore my compression tights and I think that they really help. You might want to try a pair. They are a little pricey, but I think well worth the investment. I wear CW-X.
Andrew is fine. It makes me happy and sad. He is slowly meeting a few people. I've asked him to join your group and he is thinking about it.
Say hi to your beautiful wife!

Just returned from my weekly 5 mile hilly run in Dorset Hollow. Thought of all my Kansas friends and how they would enjoy the hill climbs!! Wished Jay and Jay were with me to keep me running faster........
