And week #6 of Chicago Marathon training is underway! Stick and leg swings inside, then 5 min slow jog warm up and cooldown, with 50 mis at easy (supposedly will become marathon) pace. First run in the Kinvara 3s - left calf stopped hurting about a minute into the run. Splits:
Mile 1 - 10:13
Mile 2 - 9:21
Mile 3 - 9:06
Mile 4 - 9:18
Mile 5 - 9:22
Mile 6 - 9:50
Last 0.24 - 11:39
Fastest mile - 8:58

Very pleased (and surprised) that miCoach scored me at 99% (i.e. held target paces 99% of workout time). Happy Monday DMrs!
