      Wanna pick up speed? Bang out some 400s. Does your treadmill have a 400m track visualizer? Go hard for 400m then easy for 400m and repeat a couple of times.

      ... Uh... that sounds complicated! I can't even figure out how to change the treadmill to KM! :D How many 400's do you bang out in 20 minutes?

      You don't have to change it to km. 400m is .25 of a mile. I'd suggest you warm up for five minutes then try two repeats. Next week do three, the week after do four, etc.

      I know you love the lightweight Vibrams, but you might need more support when you do longer distances. You might look at the Brooks Pure or Asics 33 series for lightweight but supportive runners.

      I agree with Dana! For $15 you can only watch Star Trek once. You can run in those shorts for years (though I do recommend regular laundering).
