welp... this is it. my last long run before the 26.2 in philadelphia. i can't tell you how unprepared i feel. i'm afraid i'm going to have to walk, feel like crap, and come in at a slower time. i've only done one 20 miler and that was the last week in october. ugh... so not ready. any suggestions on what i should run the week before my marathon. i got a 3 miler, a 6 miler and a 3 miler on the calendar. any other tips?


This is still great, Erin. I've had similar feelings before my races but *if* it doesn't turn out the way you want it will still be a great learning experience that you can use for a future marathon. Just have fun with it. Your taper schedule the week before sounds good. I would stick with that and rest the legs. GL!

Erin, I wanted to straight up puke before MCM, right until the gun went off. The sched sounds okay. I'm with Diane- don't pressure yourself so much about time that the race becomes unenjoyable. Oh, and some cheese enchiladas the night before will keep you from pooing. That's my only advice. ;)
