My pace was actually way faster than this. I am going to edit my route now that I realized I had "follow the roads" keeping me from drawing in my interval paths.
One way to shave time off your run is to a) sprint up hills, b) run intervals throughout your run, and c) extend your gait. I'm not sure how you're doing it on the track...?

  9. RUN
alright Godalen Ramsvig 5.62 km 00:35 10:01 pace

Decent run/jog. Not many people out, no fish food factory smells, light breeze off the salty sea fjord. Energy levels were so/so, but I managed to accelerate up the hills which brought new interest... read more

  10. RUN
    alright Godalen Ramsvig 00:35

Mid-afternoon jog. Done out of need for endorphin fix, not because I wanted to. Was glad I went, but couldn't get past a fast-jog pace. Wah.

Thanks Brian. Yes, it is an accomplishment to silence the gagging reflex from air smelling of "au de Friskies" while huffing and puffing up a fjord hill! ;-)

You did a great job. I hate running in the heat. My preference is a slight drizzle and cloudy sky.
