      Ouch! I hurt just reading your post gal. Can truly understand the frustration, but you are wise to take care, especially from infection. Hang in there friend. It will get better and you’ll be back to where you want to be so soon.

      Susan: basically if your back foot/leg doesn’t fully extend back behind you in a stride (as opposed to kicking up to your butt), you aren’t maximizing on full extension. My runners struggle with really kicking out their back leg/foot because they feel like they’re falling forward and if freaks them out.
