My quad hates me now after that bike. This was really tough- I hope I didn't damage my quad too much. Managed to get 3rd in age group but I was really disappointed

injured Triceratops Tri 12.4 mi 00:39 19.1mph pace
This sucked. I hit a bump and my seat went completely down. I was working so hard because I was so squished. It was awful.
-
Oh man! But you still managed a 19mph pace? Please tell me all your bike secrets!

alright Woodhaven 5 mi 00:39 07:48 pace
I sound like a broken record but wow, was it humid!! Going to need several weeks to acclimate to this. Not sure how I'm going to train for a marathon in this type of weather - wowzers!

I hope your quad is better soon! I would have gotten off my bike and waited for the sag wagon, so kudos to you for powering through!
