5 miles progressive plus c/d. Still doing just enough the taper isn't driving me nuts, but I'm not sure how I'll make it through next week.

Wasn't sure if it was going to be a tempo run or yoga tonight until the last minute. Then, I broke my indecision and went with Jon's suggestion. Got out and didn't feel like tempo ... read more

I'm guessing the lower impact of the elliptical helped you keep that dinner in its place :-) I vote for tempo today (Tues) and yoga tomorrow. Let's see how it turns out!

Did my easy/recovery miles in the heat of the day. If the marathon weather is hotter than expected I'll be glad for this one.

Good recovery run Erik, hopefully the weather is perfect on the day, ours is so unpredictable, it was 25c this time last year now its just rain and wind and 5 - 12c

@Ameet - We have a saying here "If you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes". So, it changes day to day, but on this run it was in the low 80s (27-28 C). Humidity is fairly low most of the time, rarely going over 70%.

Smart to get ready for some heat on race day. Though I rarely do that, I'm going to need to over the next couple of months.
