What an interesting run I had today. At first I wanted to run down Middle Country road to Riverhead and back. My leg calve had other plans though it started to really burn and my left shin began to hurt so instead of pushing through I stopped rubbed the pain out and just walked for about a mile. I decided to run up Ridge road because there was plenty of places that I coud have cut my run short if I needed it. Took me 6 miles to get comfortable with my run. At mile 7 I stopped talked with Wayne for a minute then I past the NCRW running group which really inspired me to continue running. I got through the hilly part of the run very easy today. I think I just work harder on the hills and I guess I just llke the extra effort. Once I hit the Sun on Randall road I started to feel sluggish but I knew I had 4 miles to go so I pushed it through. The last mile I had to cut through the Ridge Memorial Day Parade. I felt bad cutting through the parade but no way they was gonna stop me from finishing my run! Wore The Mirage today they are starting to feel better and better now. Avg Heart was 149 and high HR was 187 but I think that was a blip. I am happy because I am really improving with keeping my HR low and it really has not effected my pace that much. I just need to increase pace by like 20 seconds.
