To run :) To keep myself and my family healthy. To be able to run forever (not as in hundreds of miles in a row, but until I die).

I probably could have gotten in a good run, swim, run workout if I had a full wetsuit. Went out along one stretch I thought wouldn't be flooded- but was, decided that even if I went around it would be bad further down, so turned around and headed to the other side- flooded right away, so I cut through the prickers and ran along a field until the trail wasn't flooded and right into ANOTHER flooded stretch. Screw it, turned around and went back the way I came...except I turned to early through the brambles and had to turn around and go further up the field then cut through. I was gonna call it quits, but decided to run across the Church road bridge to the other side. If I was smart, I would have started here since the elevation is higher. Enjoyed the hills on this side that I had never run on before. Had to walk a couple sections of hills and cut through the woods for a small flooded section and back. Had some foot pain (more achy than sharp) and also need stretchy laces to compensate for my thick feet. I had some pain along the top of my NB MT101's on the left of the right foot. Wearing them on Friday, I also had pain, but on the right side of the right shoe. Definitely need yankz or something...I have a pair around here somewhere...miles:
