      Thanks Sue and Stacy! Yeah, the soup goes with the territory this time of year, just when I need to be training the hardest! My 'season' runs from September to May now but that just gets me out of events during the hottest/most humid months.

      Thanks Helene! It's a combo of many things, diet, recovery and a slow pace compared to when I was younger. You KNOW the most important factor - LOTS OF LUCK. I know lots of people younger, faster and in apparently better shape who just don't seem to have the endurance gene, or something...
