Good job on the run & on the gym workout :). I hope you start feeling better soon too, being sick and not able to work out (or do whatever else you want to do and can't) really stinks!

  10. RUN
great New Years Training Run-Mcleod... 2 mi 00:21 10:24 pace

That was the best run I've had in a really long time. I felt great and didn't stop to walk at all.

  11. RUN
good New Years Training Run 1.5 mi 00:18 11:52 pace

This was a much slower run than I had hoped. I hydrated with Coke yesterday instead of water, but I finished my goal distance for the day with a few short walk breaks thrown in.

You can definitely do a 5k in under 30! In September I finally ran it in 29:30! The thing that helped me was interval training, but *always* end with a sprint. After all if you only run one part of a race, you want it to be across the finish line, right ;).

It is really packed at the gym lately! I did the weights today at lunch but also did Zumba, because they have it at 12:00 on Tuesday and Thursday now. I'm going to run outside when I can though. The weather has not been too bad for it. After January it will be a lot easier to get a treadmill anyway.
