great Boulder Backroads 17.01 mi 02:26 08:33 pace

Took to the backroads with Jen B. for the last long run of this abbreviated 8-week marathon training cycle. This whole endeavor has been a fun lark. I decided to run CIM (California International Marathon) only after running an out-of-the-blue half marathon PR exactly 6 weeks ago. Now that I have finished all the tough workouts, I am left excited and nervous that I haven't put in enough miles but knowing I have nothing to lose. Two weeks to go.     8 weeks sounds crazy. I had 15 this time and it seemed too short. You have nothing to lose so enjoy the taper and gain as much strength as you made room for!

    You have more than enough miles in when you consider your overall fitness for the past years. You are looking primed to challenge that marathon PR. Have a good taper, I am looking forward to hearing how it goes.
