      Well... I see you have 67 DM friends and in all probability, you have some who've done Ultra's, IronMen and lord knows what other crazy endurance stuff. It's not the distance, its the attitude :) Keep on runnin'!

      On the flip side, there are those non-runners who like to call every organized race a Marathon regardless the length. I just grin at them. Don't let their ignorance get you down. Rock on!

      And I'll bet all of those marathoners started off by running a 5K. We all start somewhere. Non-runners just don't get it.

    WOW I felt absolutely amazing on this run.
    It was 45 and raining at 10 this morning. It was blowing, but not too bad.
    It was a nice run : )

    I been taking Zyrtec 24 hrs, It helped me out during the running, but it's so unpleasant.

      I battled allergies for the first time last year. I thought it was a cold until I saw a doctor. He told me to take zyrtec and I hated it….so now I just endure and lots of farmer blowing. Kind of gross but better than the way zyrtec made me feel.

      I woke up this morning thinking, "ugh, is this a cold or that "cold" that lasts for about a month each spring?" I live in denial every year until it hits. Definitely puts a damper on the runs... makes it harder to breathe. Mine isn't too severe and I don't medicate it. My husband has to load up on zyrtec or his eyes swell shut.

      My wife is allergic to pretty much everything, so she has the full load of meds. However, since she doesn't run, I'm not sure what would work for exercising. I've found the pollen isn't as horrible since I've been running, though. Or, at least, it doesn't bother me as badly.

      Every year is the same for me, bad pollen allergy.
      Same say to buy local honey , I am going to try ,maybe I get better.
