      Hey Darrel, good. Ran really easy, in new shoes too. No problem ....Frosty 50K huh? Had my eye on doing that but will miss it. Best bargain in the Triad.

    Christmas miracle that I finished. Soleus strain at mile 7 felt like a lower-leg explosion, and I feared the race would end there. Good friends encouraged and helped me get to the line.

      We finished in one piece. You obviously have a high tolerance for pain. Must be all those marathons you've run Eddie.

      I hope you are recovering well!! I can’t believe you finished?!! I had the same injury last December. Brutal. I read info on Calf Heart attacks which I followed a plan for slowly coming back. You may find it helpful.

      Thanks all. Still sore, although that's most noticeable after I've been sitting at my desk and less when I'm walking. Jordan McAmmond thinks I could be running again next week. But I don't have a race on the calendar and will take it slowly.
