      It was hard because I had never ran a mile like that before. Started out kind of fast but then there was an uphill and it threw me for a loop. Then a downhill and then another uphill before it changed to basically downhill. Didn't know how fast or slow to go. Just weird. Should have somehow practiced.

    Dropped car off at shop for oil change. Ran to Cannery Row and back. Stopped to take pictures and look at cool cars. Great pace for me. Felt good.

    We pedaled to the ammo bunkers and back. Real easy 6 mile ride. Amazingly my legs felt fine after a tough 13 miles on trail yesterday. Lael is so much fun.

    Ran with Matt and Lael on her bike. Nice hard pack sand trails through scrub brush. Ups and downs. Good pace for the terrain. Wasn't really feeling like doing it but felt I needed to do it.
