-I've been training pretty hard the last few days (hard quality workouts 3 out of the last four days)... started out the run a bit tired but after my warm up I felt good enough to tackle my tempo stretch. It went well, and despite my perceived effort telling me that I was going about as fast as I possibly could my heart rate stayed right where it was supposed to be. I was especially proud of myself for the cool down. Normally I'm a cool down slacker but this time I got a whole 2 miles in and it felt good!

    Looks like you had an epic tempo session. Quality sessions are key to being an elite runner. I think its time for me to get a heart rate monitor and or a gps thingy. Time to catch up on technology. or run naked? Your workout here is quite inspiring Ethan. Thanks for sharing the tid bits and the low down on it.
