No ankle/foot pain to report...yay!!! Felt really good for the first 1.75 miles, but then the heat started to really bother me. It was HOT and humid, and it was only 9:30 am. I should've gone out at 7 when I got up.
After a 5 minutes warm up, I ran the first 2 miles at an average 12:30 pace doing 2/1 minutes run/walk intervals. I then walked the rest of the way home, with a nice jog up a hill before I got to my street. I'm pretty happy with the performance considering I've been off for 2 weeks and it was hot. Keep moving forward...
