The ankle is still not up to par after 2 days of rest. Felt the sharp pain again after about 3/4 of a mile. I walked a bit and it went away so I kept doing a few run/walk intervals. The goal for today was 4 miles, but I took a shorter loop and only did 2. I didn't want to be farther away from home and have my ankle get worse.
The frustrating thing is that even though it was really hot out, the rest of my body felt great and my endurance was up. Why can't my body and my endurance match?!?!
I have ice on my ankle now, but it feels weak. I'm going to keep nursing it this week and hopefully it won't turn into anything major. Fingers crossed :)
