      I love the way they feel and how they take my orthotics perfectly! It's definitely a process for me to break them in and correct my form. Love that I can clearly see the wear on the heel. It's an easy way to judge how well I held my form!

  16. If I want to run a 10k in 5 weeks should I just rework half of my 1/2 marathon training plan + speedwork or find a 2 month plan and half it? Note, I just ran a 1/2 marathon on the 18th.

      It depends on what you want form the 10K. Is there a time goal for this?

      Well, it would be my first 10k but I've done 5k's and a 1/2 now. Part of me would like to see a strong time because I always felt good on my 5/6/7 mile runs in the 1/2 training. I tend to lose steam after mile 8 because of nutrition issues which I experienced in the 1/2 I did on the 18th. I guess I don't want it to be a fun run but I'm still re-finding my racing legs. Does any of that make sense? :-)

      It makes sense. Looks like you have enough gas to handle 10K without much difficulty. I'd emphasize on speed and strength more in the next few weeks. In addition to weekly interval workouts, perhaps add a tempo run of 20~30 minutes at 10K pace - or swap the tempo with some hill workouts. You are just coming off your first half-mary, be sure to monitor your body carefully because you're prone to injury right now. Cut down on your weekly mileage a bit if need be.
