100% humidity when I left. Only 70F so still not too bad. Definitely was "glistening" for most of this run. Another tempo run with one of the ladies from the group.

Glad you got a reprieve in the heat for your evening run! It's good to learn that your calf is 100% again and that you've got a nice group training up for MCM. Lots of fun training runs to enjoy!

Have you had her watch the movies? My boys are about that age (+/- a year) but we've only watched the clone wars cartoons so far. That was a hot night run. I had to switch to mornings because at least here in Chicago the humidity is typically lower in the morning. How about by you? Good run, good pace under crappy weather. Great job Doug.

@Ben. Weather was unseasonably cool so 8:30 felt pretty good. I did my last 400 at about 6:00. The rest were around 8:00 which was much safer after my recent calf woes. I'll unleash the hounds in a few weeks. ;)

I'm a novice amateur runner. But, I would stick to a plan - there's a reason for it. Overtraining isn't a good thing of it heightens injury risks, and that's definitely not good for a race.
