good Last big one before the Big One. 14 mi 02:30 10:42 pace

LSD. I was a little fuzzy on the time and distance. But 14 is a good ball park. I tried new shoes tonight. Big mistake, around mile 3 my left arch felt terrible. I stopped, took off my shoe and massaged my foot for a few minutes. I nursed the foot back to life and a few miles later if felt much better. I returned home earlier then planned to and changed into my old shoes. They felt much better and I had no more troubles.
The second loop I grabbed Cooper for some companionship. That little guy ran about 8 miles with me tonight. Near the end of the run I took a short detour up to the top of the Rock. Mentally, I feel I am ready to run a marathon. My legs have 12 more miles in them but I didn't bike 112 miles today. Ironman here I come. Happy training everyone.
