Could definitely be the shoes. When I run with my new shoes, my shins get like that. Glad you're back out there!

Baby steps Donata, keep doing what you are doing slowly building up. Patience and consistency are the key :-)

your doing well, If your out of breath slow your pace so you are comfortable, just don't push to much too soon and you'll get there. :)

I had the worst time trying to control my breathing when I first start (I'm still not that great at it). Eventually you will find something that works for you though, just keep at it

I do this 1,2,3,4 count in my head. Almost OCD about it but it helps me keep a pace- slow or fast and I noticed it helped me with breathing. Way to get out there and get it done!!!

I'm not good with the breathing either. What I do try to do is every minute or so focus on the breathing, calm it down. I usually only get 5-10 good breaths in before I get distracted - but I've found its been helping.
