good First 20-mile week! 5.1 mi 01:00 11:48 pace

Realized going into the weekend that I was 8 miles away from a 20-mile week. Caleb M. was on track for setting a record of his own (his first 100-mile week), so I took a little inspiration from him and decided to go for it. After yesterday's 3 miles on the treadmill (still need to post), I just needed 5 to hit my goal. This meant that today would also be my longest run in Boone to date. I was pretty tired from yesterday's intervals, so I really tried to maintain a 3/5 effort. I'm not used to seeing paces this slow (this was more like my first half marathon race pace), but I tried not to let that get to me. What matters is that I got it done, and my first 20-mile, race-free week is in the books!
