Decided to push myself today! I know that's not exactly what you're supposed to do during a taper, and I promise I'll take my remaining 2 runs nice and slow, but throwing down a killer run the week of a big race just seemed like something Caleb would do. And since I'm "Doing it for Caleb" these days, that's what I did! This was probably the first time I tried to be a little relentless with myself, just to see what I could do on the big hills around our house. I wasn't trying to run faster than I did when I ran with Caleb, but I ended up killing that time! Can't wait till after the half, when I can start working on my speed for my April 5K. I *will* get back to my 30-minute 5Ks, and then some!

Oh, and I also just got on the scale and discovered I am back in the 120s. Haven't been there since pre-pregnancy!!! And since I got up to the 170s during the pregnancy, that is pretty killer.
