Either it was the hot weather, or just random meh-ness, but every step of this sucked. Gave up and caught the bus home.

great Pilates 00:45
I've blocked out my schedule on Mon and Thurs mornings at 9 to do pilates - it really is time to get off my butt! Having a goal to work towards always helps, so my challenge is to master this exerc... read more

Lol! It's not as hard as it looks :) For me, it's having the strength in the upper abdominals to get back up - you need to practice in full extension, and often we don't go down past horizontal (eg cause the floor is in the way) so we're not strengthening the outer range.

@Laura: it's right by Parson's Green tube, Urban Ascent. Westway might be better though if you've never climbed before - rope climbing is a bit less scary!

@Velvet It's tendonitis/pinched nerve/something going on which is inflaming the distal, lateral region of the 1st metatarsal. Have to keep pressure off the area, so no standing up on the balls of my feet, no lunges, no running, etc. Physio thinks it was likely aggravated by doing the two ballet classes in a row, although it didn't crop up for a few days afterwards.
