Well too many late nights and allergies kept me from getting any runs in this week. Luckily the dog keeps me on two one-mile walks each day so we maintain some semblance of sanity.

its definitely a balance and sometimes being so exhausted and still going out for a run. I work in event planning so sometimes I work 40+ others its 70+, but running keeps me calm, even if it means running at 11pm at night!

I usually do these type of floor workouts while the kids do their homework. That way I'm nearby when they need help.

Great job! Don't feel bad. Took me like 30 mins just to change out my tires yesterday. How's the foot feel? Any pain should manifest within 24 hours.

Thanks Leo! And I've been meaning to thank you for the bike advice too! I gotta save up, but I think end of summer I'll follow your lead, and get a better bike! It's just barely sore on top, I think I only notice because I'm paying so much attention to it. Going to take it easy still, and maybe run the firecracker 5k this weekend if it doesn't get any worse. I have to really wiggle my foot to feel anything, and even then it's just barely sore where it had hurt.

Bikes are so much more complicated than running shoes ;) and you're right about the shorts. I wanted to get off the seat after a half hour!

One bit of advice my physical therapist was to do run/walk intervals to ease back into things.

yikes-I have been having ankle and foot issues for a while now. My arch is tightening up and it does feel squeezed. i am taking a few days off and I have orthotics now. A half marathon is still a long ways to go-I would rest it today and tomorrow and see about Sunday.

Hate footie problems! My right one has been bothering me for over a week....I can't tell if it's heel (like Achilles) or ankle or in between.... I've been icing, now alternating with heat, and taking pain medication occasionally. The rest is just being patient for the healing process!
