I was planning to rest today but woke up stiff and achy so I got warm and stretched. I'm working today so I only had so much time but this pace felt sooooooo good, I could have gone on for hours.

.25 at 4.0I wanted to add some time at the faster pace but found that my legs were toast! I then thought I'd add a whole 'nother mile at the slower pace but again - legs! toast!

Thanks, Alicyn. I think I was fueled by anger and frustration because I yet again (or still) am having HUGE problems with my internet. Argh!!! (am on cafe wifi at the moment, which is looking pretty attractive at the moment as a permanent solution!)

I really had to talk myself out of calling it done at 2 miles and it took a lot of self-talk to get all of me on board with the whole 3... and then to have it all blow up like that was disappointing. All that effort to pump myself up ~ wasted! :)

This is so awesome to hear! And I love that you are going to add in the incline! Next step is to start aiming for 10 mile walks. It feels so great when you can do one of those. Once it cools down I am going to work towards a 20 mile walk!

My experiment is going well! This pace, which used to be a stretch for me, is starting to feel almost normal. It's still a push for me, and it takes focus and iron will but it's less hateful with each day. :)
