Beautiful 72-degree temps with relatively low humidity, and a breeze pretty much throughout the run...a good combination. I knew it'd be cooler, so I slept in a little longer than usual. So, being inspired by my running friend, Megumi Medina, I tried something I always wanted to try--two consecutive double-digit runs. It went well! I was only about 27 seconds slower than my time from yesterday. However, I did feel a little fatigue earlier this time (around mile 6.5-7, as opposed to mile 8 from yesterday). But, I followed the SAME formula--I found a nice, comfortable 8:30-8:40ish pace, and stuck with it until the last couple miles. This run was inspired by you, Megumi M.!
