    Quick run this morning whilst sick. I hate being sick but a run seems to help with the congestion....at least for a few minutes.

      The miles will build strength and endurance, and by not focusing on pace, you will reduce injuries. Great miles and focusing on pace can come later.

    Considering the soupy mess that I went out in, this felt pretty good. I just did my new standard loop around Eastern Lancaster. Hit some nice paved trails and roads.

      Yes! First, nice recovery! 2nd, great news you felt good this weekend! And 3rd, yes, though I didn't go outside (except on my deck) the humidity smacked me in the face as soon as I opened the door! Heard the dew point was in the mid-70's. Yuck!

    Testing out the hip a bit more each week. Hoping to be able to run at least one HM this season. I feel pretty good now, but sometimes the hip soreness kicks in a bit later. Fingers crossed.

      Our work is killing us. Hope you can find some time soon for morning running. I'm finding it harder to squeeze in, as well, esp. as the mileage gets higher and the mornings start earlier with school. Nice cross-training.

    Couldn't get out until late for this run, so I am really happy with how good it felt. Trying to rebuild some mileage without hip pain. I know the temps really helped too.
