      Very frustrating... have a stress fracture so not able to run for ~6 wks! And my son-in-law Marc got one, too, this week only 17 days before his first ultra marathon. Can't believe the coincidence. Well, stationary bike and upper body workouts for a few weeks and then start training for Lewis & Clark half. Plan to run with Marc and my daughter, Jessi. Will be great!

    Ran at sunrise... beautiful, crisp morning in Tempe but felt tired and stomach not great. The run was flat as a pancake, most of it on dirt along a canal. Pace on last mile was 9:43
