    great Croom Trails 16 mi

    11 mi, much of it in the pouring rain, with a great group of trail runners and a few huge spiders. Then 5 solo miles. All good!

    Ran the first 4 with my coaching group. So much easier to tolerate the heat when with friends. Then 4 more solo when it was a bit cooler right before dark.

    4 miles with my coaching group, 88 degrees, but all were in good spirits. There was even a band performing at the park tonight. 2 miles with Bailey, my dog.

    Sometimes allowing one more day before the long run makes all the difference. Good Yasso times are encouraging.

  8. Decided to save my long run until tomorrow. Slept in, then did a brick. Spinning class, then 4 mi. on treadmill with a bit of speed work mixed in. Then worked out my lower body.
