First 15 minutes were tough...my calf was very tight. Stretched and finished out fine. Too hot again today so had to stay in....


Does it just need more flexibility?

Not sure...first time that has happened. Because I'm a new runner I start and finish every run session with 5 minutes of walking and then post run I always do about 10 minutes of flexibility...yoga stretches (hamstrings, quads etc etc and always include calves). I try to hold stretches (no bouncing) for at least 30 seconds.....
