Bridle Trails running festival 50K! 4 of the 6 laps after the sun went down. New PR for the 50K which I would like to contribute to my increase trail and hill running but really it was my fear of the dark and fear of getting eaten by a cougar! New head lamp and knuckle lights worked well. The trail was in much better shaped than expected. There were areas of thick mud but those areas were easily avoid since the trail is pretty wide. Didn't need to use my extra shoes or clothes. It certainly was different running at night and my stomach gave me problems most of the race. Very well organized and good food at the aid station! The volunteers were great!
