      good distance. muddy soft, or nice-n-spongy soft? Around here, it's always the latter after a rain.

      Most of the paths are gravelly and hard, but were softer after the rains. Some of the paths by the water were very muddy and not easily runnable.

    I "fixed" my right pedal. It was clicking on each stroke and I thought the bearing was bad. Turns out the pedal was just loose! I tightened it and no further problem.
