    Pretty challenging with head wind for the first mile of 5k loop and a hill. Ran well in the 10k segment but slowed in the 5k segment. 40th overall. Awards ceremony WAY too long (1.5 hours).

    Recovery run in the heat. Went out the No Name Trail for the breeze. Lots of seabirds and stinky seaweed.

    Next Sat. have 15k double run in San Jose. Practiced with 1.5 miles at race pace one half hour after the 5k.

    Tough new course with uphill for one mile, then downhill for half a mile, then rolling with uphill finish. It was also unusually warm out there. 31st overall.

      Since the race went up Old Bunker Road there were great views of the ocean from there. But I was more focused on not falling :)
