Had the option of rest or cross training yesterday. Went with rest but was up and ready to get the weekly miles going this morning in low 40, super foggy conditions. Overdressed as per usual, I'll get it right probably right when spring gets here. Plan called for 6 easy leaving some room at the end for a couple of hill repeats by my apartment. Caleb M. knows the area where I live so there's no escaping these hills from him but that's good cause the Flying Pig course has some decent hills to run up and down. Tried my best to do the 2 repeats (almost .40 up) at a moderate pace which was tough when you're used to hill repeats at a faster clip. I think I did alright overall in keeping them in the moderate range though. Felt awesome in the dark fog too and the legs felt good after warming up. Good start to the running week.

Gotta love the easier hills! You'll be pushing up them for Flying Pig!

Nice job. Bar is now set pretty high for my own hills later on today. That hill is longer than I thought!

I'm having a tough time figuring out the weather lately, too...either under or overdressed every morning! Long hill repeats, my friend!

Nice run - Flying Pig has its share of hills, but they are manageable (at least, I believe it's still a similar route to what I ran back in '02, just mostly reversed from what I understand).
