    With Flatlanders 3 weeks out I decided to do a long run on roads -almost all hills. Slowed down a bit the last few miles when traffic picked up. 60+ miles for the week.

      I guess I was thinking in terms of enjoyment. In terms of what can severely kick your ass, then, yes underrated. Trav, hope we can hook up for a run sometime - although I won't be able to do any weekend runs this month.

    Felt really blah on this one: took about 8 miles to warm up. After a week of running in temps of 50s and 60s, this run felt horrible (85 degrees and humid).

      Thanks guys. I feel fine but am trying to be extra careful and take it easy. Hard to do when you're in an area that's so full of great areas to run in.

    I enjoyed this race immensely! Absolutely gorgeous (and difficult)! I feel very lucky to have participated (the course, the people, the volunteers, race officials, weather - all second to none).

    Felt good and picked the pace up a little running from home to Borgia track; 3 miles barefoot on turf just inside the track; a few strides and then back home. 4 days till Bighorn!!

    met up with tkd kids at Washington HS track: ran a mile around the track (6:30) and then ran 1/2 mile of stairs. Felt sore afterwards.

    Hot and humid run. Ran easy, walking almost all hills to practice for Bighorn 100 in less than 12 days. Chatted a bit on the trail with Gerry Frost and Carol. Took a dip in the creek at the end.
