nice run. wat the concrete harder than asphalt or something? I like concrete at times but not in the heat.

I think concrete is more abrasive than asphalt. It may be the relatively smoother surface compared the "bumpier" asphalt.

That is interesting. I run BF most of the time if the temps are good but the rough asphalt is harder on my feet than sidewalk. When I run at the indoor track it is asphalt but not broken or bumpy. Our town has a lot of those sidewalks where they are raised from tree roots and I have to be ever vigil, too.

Sidewalks are like running on coarse sandpaper. I'm with you on the preference for asphalt as long as it's not chip seal or deteriorated to "gatorback" texture.

On dry pavement so far at 32° I'm fine . I do a little warm-up running in place inside before I go outside. It seems to work fine, of course I'm also a T-shirt only sort of person down to about 32° too. I also have noticed that my normally cold feet in the winter time  haven't been bothering me this year. I'll often sleep with socks on in the winter and have not had to this year.
