      Hurt finger? Odd. Maybe poor circulation. Try a lap swim counter that mounts on your finger or get the newer Garmin fore runners as they also count laps automatically. I don't like counters on me though.

      Good comments. It's not a circulation thing, I'm just either trying to push too much water too fast with my hands or I have weak finger muscles. I'll try the finger thing thanks Josh!

    Felt good to get out early morning and run hard. Sidewalks and trail running. Used a cheap gel pad in my left forefoot and I didn't have any pain! :) Thanks Dan for the recommendation.
