good At least I am in working order 5.07 mi 00:42 08:14 pace

My Garmin decided to drop out a lot on the trail today and recorded mileage short as splits of 8:26, 7:44, 9:16, 7:51, 8:02 are just too much all over the place as I tend to hold a steady pace. The heart rate for mile one was through the roof and theoretically I should have blown a valve. The good news is my foot and big toe that was sore yesterday feel great and everything thing else is in working order. A little bit of fatigue which is expected which started to dissipate as the run went on.Tomorrow is interval day which I will most likely delay another day or two and take it easy.
Looking at the GPS map from the run confirms things as this was an out and back on the bridle trail and the gaps between them is rather large.

Trails are usually dicey with the Garmin. Nice 5, regardless.

Better to have a bum garmin than a bum foot. ? Nice recovery.

@Mark W. I agree totally. I run this same trail 3 times a week and it has always been fine. It didn't like something today.

We should run sometime, we're not that far away. I'm just happy you're running this well two days after a pretty great marathon to be honest.

@Tim M. Let me know when as I would like that. This week is tight as I have to close the books but anytime after that would be great. I am surprised as well that I feel this good. Hopefully it is not a jinx.

@Mike The blown valve will go good with the blown head gasket from trying to get people to do there job at work. I guess that it is a good thing that I run but sometimes I run to hard because I get pissed off and that drives the pace down.
