    taking it super easy. First workout after straining my left ankle very badly in mid-September 2012. I will see how this ankle feels tomorrow.

    Butterflies felt like for a race as it's been so long since my last run. Couldn't let a month go by without getting a run in. 5K run followed by .7K cooldown (.5 jog .2 walk).

      @JeffW Funny enough I felt warm the first half and thought I made a mistake by having two layers on my torso, but then I was glad I had them for the second half and still felt cold. Belle Isle was so tough...always.

    I'm so not ready for this Sunday's 26.2. It's going to be painful. It'll teach me a lesson for not training properly.

      Thanks, Adam! You are definitively right. I haven't spend enough time training on my feet... I'll try to fill the gap before race day (Detroit full, Oct16).

      Ouch, looks like you have about 2 more weekends of long runs before you start to taper. Should be enough though if you have more weekends like this one.

      Thanks, David. We talked last week a little and I didn't realize I was in fact injured a little. 5 days of rest were needed. The bad part is that I missed my 18 miler. Not happy about it. Now I'm worried about the 20 miler coming up.
