1st one hour run, started out steady and still felt good at the end, lovely sunny day for a run along the coast

Feeling good on the 5 milers now, strong headwind for most of first half but felt I kept a steady effort through out, need to set a new target?

Couldn't lift as I sprained my thumb playing waterpolo last week so did 30mins on the elliptical trainer......difficult to compare distance/speed to running????
Ran last 5 miles of JGal's 3 hour run with her, so proud of her, also helped me work off the few pints of Guinness from last night

first game in 2 years due to shoulder surgeries, nice 7-4 win and won my 3 ball swims....nice to meet the ol Sandycove crew
Nice run in the sun, did the 1st 2.5 miles with JGal before she kept going for her 90mins, this went a lot better than my first 5 miler 2 weeks ago, taking it steady is helping the knee behave
40 min gym followed by 30 min run on tm, no knee pain, progressed from 10min to 8min pace near the end
started from a walk to slow jog over first 5 mins, then at just sub 9min pace for the rest, tried to focus on not running on the outside of my right foot which I felt I might be doing, result was n... read more
