  1. RUN
    Whyte Ave/Uni 9.3 km 00:51 08:49 pace

Felt good considering I haven't been out in a while...IT band seems to be lasting a bit longer than before which is good too.

  2. RUN
    university 1.8 mi 00:15:00 08:20 pace

No time to run longer than 15 mins since all the treadmills were booked up so did some intense quick inclines without changing my speed.

  3. FIT
    university

went well, aside from fighting for mirror space with all the boys at the uni. haha. legs and arms will be achy tomorrow i'm sure. Oh well, its worth it!

  4. RUN
    university 3.3 mi 00:28 08:29 pace

running at the uni treadmills sucks cause you're not allowed to go for more than 30 mins. I added sprint inclines and pushed my pace to make up for the lack of distance .

  5. FIT

yay abs workout! I'm still sore from monday though...

Fall race with my mom. (I need to catch up on the 6 months I've neglected to post)... I did the Half and she did her first 10km walk! So proud of her!!

Same goes for my core...it could use some work. haha

  9. FIT
    University

Need to strength my legs again after a lazy weights winter.

  10. RUN
    University 3.5 mi 00:30 08:34 pace

Felt good, just going easy to avoid screwing my IT band up again.

  11. Oh my. Its been 6 months since I was on here last, I'm hoping I'll stick to it this season...Good motivation for the upcoming summer races I'm registered for!

  12. RUN
Spruce Grove Womens Tri 5 km 00:27 08:38 pace

I was determined to do the 1.25km loops in 7 min splits. When I started running I was pretty sure my legs were going to fall off, but I knew as soon as I stopped I'd never start running again... read more

  13. VELO
Spruce Grove Womens Tri 21.5 km 00:49 16.5mph pace

This time also includes Transitions 1 and 2. So, my guess is that my ride time was closer to 43 mins. Felt great for the first 1/3 until the hill which seemed substantially more difficult than last... read more

  14. swim
    Spruce Grove Womens Tri 750 m 00:18 38:35 pace

I have not done any real amounts of swimming the last few weeks, so I was impressed with my swim time. I did hit a 'wall' around 400m but kept pushing to get it over with.

    • Simon W.

Great swim. Way to go pushing through the wall!

  15. RUN
    Walterdale Hill 4.75 km 00:23 07:47 pace

Did a quick run to Walterdale hill then ran up & down it twice. 4min down and 4:20 up. Its one painfully long hill. Ran home as quickly as I could. Probably should've given myself a bit mo... read more

  16. swim
    Peter Hemingway Pool 800 m 00:20 40:14 pace

Went swimming with my mom & did a few laps of the 50 m pool. Not all that comfortable with 50m pools, but for some reason this time I felt fine. Hopefully that's a good thing since I have ... read more

  17. VELO
    Pigeon Lake 16 km 00:30 19.9mph pace

Did a quick loop around Mulhurst out at Pigeon Lake. Beautiful day & would've loved to have gone for much longer.

  18. RUN
River Valley East 8 km 00:44 08:51 pace

It was hot I do remember that & that towards the end I was dragging my pup. Beautiful run though along the rivervalley.

  19. walk
    Golfing 05:00

I have no idea how far 18 holes of golf is in walking distances but it was super hilly & I felt it in my butt the next day.

  20. I don't know if its cause I got out of routine due to travelling, but my motivation to get out & run has dwindled down to almost nothing. Not ideal since I'm running a half in less th... read more

Time to snap out of it this malaise and 'Just Do It!' Keep things simple. Don't dwell on things. You'll feel much better afterwards ;-)
